Alumni Coordinator, US Embassy Guatemala: - Create and maintain an up-to-date the data base of the Department of State alumni in Guatemala - Coordinate and organize alumni events (programs, projects, receptions, seminars, workshops, conferences, and other meetings) and programming; to promote and develop countrywide network of USG alumni; and to assist the formation, development and sustainable development of alumni associations and inter-association cooperation and networking. - To develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic plan for alumni outreach and activities; to encourage greater participation by alumni in sharing their U.S. experience and giving back within their communities. - Manage and update the content of the social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, with both post-generated and State Department-provided information, exchange program opportunities, and contests. Recommend strategies to grow the social media sites and attract and engage youth and USG exchange program alumni.
